Who are we fa maik?
F.A. MAIK d.o.o. started its story just over 30 years ago. years. It seems almost impossible to summarise the path we have travelled, as the network of services we have provided stretches not only across Styria, but across the entire globe.
It is said that without logistics, people find it hard to survive nowadays, but we ourselves answer that the opposite is more correct. It is our quality and experienced staff that has led us to the stable delivery of the quality services we offer.
In the early days, we were quite focused on customs services, which quickly and intensively evolved into warehousing and transport services. Our transport services are thus integrated into the global network, and we are present on a daily basis on the European market.

In Maribor, we are at home in the Tezno business zone with our SDC (Storage and Distribution Centre) office at 10 Perhavčeva Street, where we primarily focus on the storage of hazardous substances and chemicals, with the transfer and transport of dangerous goods (ADR).
A short distance away, at Cesta k Tamu 4, there is also a warehouse for packaging and other non-hazardous raw materials.
What differentiates us from other 3PL and 4PL providers is that we offer the possibility to develop processes tailored to the customer’s needs.
As F.A. MAIK Group, we are also present in other countries, namely in Croatia (Radnička ulica 173/P, 10000 Zagreb) with a warehouse for hazardous and non-hazardous substances, where we operate our own railway track, in Serbia (Bulevar Milutina Milankoviča 1, 11070 Novi Beograd), where we provide logistics services, and in Austria (Breitenfurterstrasse 57-59, 1120 Wien), with a branch office from which we carry out daily distribution.
We have our own customs house and are proud holders of AE0 status. As dictated by the profession itself, we are also a SEVESO obligor (nature protection permit – higher risk plant), holder of the SQAS certificate and other certificates that enable us to operate in a productive and environmentally friendly manner (ISO 9001:2015; ISO 14001:2015, ECOVADIS).
In the last year, we have further deepened our processes with new measurement methods and additional certifications, which in turn have enabled us to offer services in previously unexplored market disciplines.
As a provider of various types of services, the focal point of our business is always the customer. We believe that the service is not finished when the work is done, but only when the client is satisfied with the work.
We ensure that productive communication and healthy competition are maintained through continuous training and subsequent development. In addition to basic professional training, we also have an internal platform called the F.A. MAIK Academy, where we share information and grow as a community in collaboration with external institutions.
One of the milestones that led us to the retrospective is the 30th. F.A. MAIK’s anniversary, which we celebrated in 2022. We would like to thank all those who help make our story:
